Faith In Action
Last May, on May 31st, we didn't hold our regular Sunday morning service. Instead we went out into the community together and served endeavoring to show God's love in practical ways.

Here's what we did ...
Haven
The Haven is non-profit treatment program for women, mothers and their babies struggling with addiction. At our Faith in Action service day we helped plant a vegetable garden and flower garden, as well as collected baby essentials to bless the mothers.
HIV Care Link
The Christian ministry of HIV Care Link is an outreach of Christian compassion and hope committed to preventing the spread of HIV, empowering and supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS and equipping the church to minister effectively to people living with HIV. We helped paint hallways at our last Faith in Action day.
Shiloh House
The Shiloh House offers residential and non-residential treatment to boys whose lives have been impacted by abuse, neglect, and trauma. On May 31st, we helped clear away yard debris.
Serving the Elderly
We partnered with Volunteers of America a program that assists the elderly in our community through minor home repair services and safety modifications. These services are offered to limited-income seniors, age 60 +, who live in their own homes.
Food Bank
The Open Arms Food Bank provides food for needy families in our community. In the spring we helped paint walls at the Food Bank to make it a warm environment for people in our community.
Columbine High School -
In light of the tragic events that happened in 1999, Columbine High School has practically closed their doors to any outsiders coming into their building. By serving this school, we can open up many doors of opportunities for our church to serve this school community.
